The day has come!

I know a lot of other places have already experienced this joyous sight, but I just wanted to share the excitement I felt when I saw this sight yesterday (one I haven't seen in YEARS!)
(The gas prices - not the snow)

Okay, do you know what's crazy? It's been that way in California (at least the Central Valley) for over a week now. Now I can get it for less than $1.80/gallon. I thought WV had cheaper fuel prices? Apparently not.

I remember the last time I saw $1.99 was fall of '06 at ONE Indy gas station.

Yep. I paid $1.79 for gas yesterday. We drove to Philadelphia and back and only spent 20 bucks for gas! It was great! It always drove me crazy how expensive gas was in Morgantown. And gas is always more expensive in WV. Even though it's cheaper here than in Morgantown (and that's about the only thing that's cheaper), I still pay at least $.10 per gallon cheaper when I drive 5 minutes away to Maryland.

As much as I LOVE to pay for cheap fuel, it is unfortunately a not so good sign of the economy... which I really need to do better by January so I can live with my husband again... :)
