I alsways would get so frustrated when my dad would respond -"Good Kids" whenver asked what he would like for any holiday gift. Now, I understand and completely agree. He never got what he wanted, so I probably won't either. =)
The question has been circulating around the house the past couple of weeks, and I'm looking for answers. (Plus, I'm just curious to see what you all have to say - so please comment.)
What do you want for your birthday?

clothes that are comfortable, fit, and make me look skinny. I am at that point in my post-pregnancy where I look in my closet and immediately get frustrated and have to try to get into my old jeans everyday.
To sleep in (though I probably wouldn't be able to). Then a day with Allan and Jack involving shopping (of course Allan will keep Jack occupied while I'm trying on clothes for four hours), buying Jack a new toy (because that's usually more fun than buying stuff for myself), eating diner-style food, and getting ice cream afterwards...but without getting overstuffed, because being sick to your stomach is no fun on your birthday.
Alicia, I'm so happy to have your blog address, I'm adding it to mine right now. I love your smiling face and hope the daily is going good.
much love, amber
to sleep in, donuts, a couple free hours to read, a trip to somewhere fun outside with the family but with Jeff having full responsibility for any of the kids' antics, a nap, dinner made and cleaned up by Jeff, and some ice cream. or more donuts.
That is a good one. To have a vacation with Kurtis minus the kids.
